Why This Kit Is Suitable:

Rosacea-prone skin has three things going on at once: a compromised skin barrier, ongoing Heat and inflammation (in TCM terms), and skin that reacts to almost every product and environmental trigger.

Every product in the Redness Reset range is made without silicones, SLS, parabens, artificial colours, fragrance or soap, so the routine itself doesn't add to the problem. Each step has one job: a soap-free cleansing lotion that cleans reactive skin without stripping it; a Chinese herbal treatment mask, built on a classic Heat-clearing formula, to calm visible redness; a herbal face oil to strengthen the skin barrier; and a gentle moisturiser to hydrate.

Used together, these four formulas calm, protect and hydrate, helping the skin settle and become less reactive over time.

Product-by-Product Explanation:

REDNESS RESET CLEANSING LOTION
A creamy, fragrance-free and soap-free cleansing lotion that safely cleans reactive skin. Foaming cleansers strip the lipids that sensitive skin depends on; this formula lifts away the day with gentle plant-derived cleansers, softened with avocado oil and sunflower oil, so the barrier stays intact. Massage onto damp skin morning and evening, then rinse with warm (not hot) water.

REDNESS RESET HERBAL TREATMENT MASK (1–2 x per week)
A targeted Chinese herbal paste that cools and soothes red, irritated skin. Its base combines Coptis root (Huang Lian), Skullcap (Huang Qin), Phellodendron bark (Huang Bai) and Gardenia fruit (Zhi Zi), four herbs used together in TCM to clear Heat, with Ku Shen, cooling mineral gypsum and colloidal oatmeal to calm the skin. Mix with water to form a smooth paste, apply to areas of redness for up to 5 minutes, then rinse.

REDNESS RESET FACE OIL
A lightweight Chinese herbal face oil that strengthens the skin barrier. Skullcap (Huang Qin), Rhubarb root (Da Huang) and Liquorice root (Gan Cao) are infused in jojoba oil, which closely matches the skin's own sebum and absorbs without heaviness. Apply as prescribed, on its own or mixed with the Redness Reset Moisturiser.

REDNESS RESET MOISTURISER
A gentle, non-greasy cream that hydrates sensitive, reactive skin. Rosehip oil and evening primrose oil replenish the fatty acids a weakened barrier is missing, while jojoba oil, vitamin B5 (panthenol) and natural vitamin E soften and soothe. Apply morning and evening as the final step, or mix with Redness Reset Face Oil.
